Frequently asked questions
Everything homeowners and contractors usually ask before using GutterFit. Can't find your answer? Send us a message.
Quotes and scheduling
Is the quote really free?
Yes. Estimates from our partner contractors are free and come with no obligation to hire. You decide if and when to move forward.
How fast will I hear back?
Usually the same business day, and within 24 hours at most. Your pro will call or text to schedule a convenient time for a free on-site estimate.
How much do gutters cost in Orlando?
It depends on the length of your roofline, the gutter size and material, roof height, the number of corners and downspouts, and the condition of your fascia. We do not publish price figures because no two homes are alike. Your written quote from a Orlando contractor is free and itemized, so you see the exact number before deciding.
Do I need to be home for the estimate?
Usually not for the measurement itself, since the work is outside. Most homeowners prefer to be there to walk the roofline with the contractor and ask questions. Agree on the details when the pro calls.
Do you serve my area?
We serve Orlando and surrounding communities in Orange, Seminole, Osceola counties. Check your ZIP code on our Service Areas page or in the quote form. If you are just outside our current coverage, we will let you know.
About GutterFit
Is GutterFit a gutter company?
No. GutterFit is a free referral service. We connect homeowners with independent local contractors who perform the work. Any agreement, warranty, or payment is directly between you and the contractor.
Who will contact me after I submit the form?
One licensed, insured gutter contractor from our Orlando network. We do not send your request to multiple companies, so you will not get a flood of calls.
How does GutterFit make money?
Partner contractors pay GutterFit a referral fee for each homeowner request they receive. Homeowners do not pay GutterFit, and GutterFit does not set contractor prices.
Do you publish reviews or ratings?
Not yet. We only publish reviews we can verify, so this site does not show ratings or testimonials until real, documented customer feedback exists.
Contractors and the work
How do you check contractors?
Before a contractor receives requests we ask for the license or local registration that applies to their scope of work and a current certificate of general liability insurance, and we confirm the ZIP codes they serve. You can read the details on our About page under Contractor standards.
Who is responsible for the work and the warranty?
The contractor you hire. Contractors in our network are independent businesses, so your contract, payment and any workmanship or material warranty are with them.
What if I am not happy with the contractor?
Tell the contractor first, then email support@gutterfit.com. We review every complaint and remove partners who do not meet our standards.
Do I need HOA approval or a permit?
It depends on your community documents and on the city or county. Many HOAs regulate gutter color and downspout placement, and some jobs, such as fascia or drainage work, can have local requirements. Ask your contractor to confirm what applies to your address before work starts.
Privacy and your information
Do you sell my information?
No. We share your request with one matched partner contractor so they can contact you, plus the service providers that run our website and form. We never sell your details to marketing lists. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Can I ask you to delete my information?
Yes. Email privacy@gutterfit.com or use the Contact page and choose "Privacy request". We will confirm once the request is handled.
Will I get marketing texts or emails?
You get a confirmation email and contact from your matched contractor about your request. We do not send newsletters, and you can reply STOP to any text to opt out.
For contractors
How do contractors join GutterFit?
Apply on our For Contractors page. We review applications within two business days and ask for the applicable license or registration and proof of liability insurance before sending any requests.
Are leads shared with other contractors?
No. Each homeowner request goes to one partner contractor who serves that ZIP code.
